My first wedding of 2021, just a few days after lockdown had started to be lifted, was a beautiful, intimate gathering. There was 6 guests in total, which included myself, as the photographer had to be included in the numbers. This meant that I had to be a witness as well, which is something that I have never done before.
Katarina & Eduard has postponed their wedding from January to March and got married at the beautiful Westgate Hall in Southampton, a venue steeped in history. Katarina was only 2 weeks away from giving birth, so they wanted to make sure that they were married before that momentous day came. In fact, Katarina was in labour when I delivered their gallery a few weeks later but still messaged me to say they would look at them when they could...now that's commitment.
The short ceremony was lovely, but I could only capture it from one angle as I couldn't moved from my designated chair, meaning that I had to get inventive when it came to composition.
I wish Katarina & Eduard all the happiness in the world and I'm so pleased that they could start their family together as a married couple, which is exactly what they wanted.
